Aliens

One of my favourite science fiction movies of all time is the movie Aliens. The sequel to the 1979 hit, the 1986 masterpiece is better than the original. It once again starred Sigourney Weaver and was directed by James Cameron. Aliens takes place 57 years after the original and deals with Ripley being found frozen in time by a salvage crew. Then, after contact with the colony on the planet from the first movie is lost, Ripley is asked to go along with a military team sent on a search and destroy mission to the planet. Then, all hell breaks loose...
